Kunjungan Menteri KKP ke Proyek K-SIGN di Rote Ndao Dorong Kemandirian Garam Nasional
Media Construction – Director of Operations I and Acting President Director of PT Nindya Karya, accompanied the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia Sakti Wahyu Trenggono on a working visit to the National Salt Industry Center Area (K-SIGN) in Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
This strategic project, owned by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, is touted as a significant milestone toward Indonesia's independence in the national salt sector. During the visit, the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries directly inspected the progress of the industrial area's development, which is targeted to increase production capacity and optimize the quality of domestic salt.
"The K-SIGN project is expected to bring many benefits, not only strengthening Indonesia's independence in meeting its salt needs without having to rely on imports, but also opening new jobs for local communities and driving the economy in Rote Ndao Regency and its surroundings," said Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.
In addition to its economic impact, this salt industrial area is also believed to improve the quality standards of Indonesian salt so that it can compete in the global market.
As the construction contractor, PT Nindya Karya affirms its commitment to fully support the government's program to achieve food self-sufficiency and strengthen the national industrial sector.

Also present to accompany the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries during the visit were Director General of Marine Management A. Koswara, Governor of NTT Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, Secretary of the Directorate General of Marine Management Miftahul Huda, Director of Marine Resources Frista Yorhanita, Head of the Center for Testing the Application of Marine and Fishery Products Rahmadi Sunoko, and Regent of Rote Ndao Paulus Henuk.
